Notary Public

Your Go-To Notary

Notary Legal Disclaimer.

I am not an attorney and therefore, by law, cannot explain or interpret the contents of any document for you, or instruct you on how to complete a document or direct you on the advisability of signing a particular document. By doing so, I would be engaging in the ‘unauthorized practice of law’ and could face legal penalties that include the possibility of losing my commission, and even fines and jail time.

Are We A Good Fit?

  • 1. Valid ID

    Do you have:

    • State-issued driver's license

    • State-issued identification card

    • U.S. passport issued by the U.S. Department of State

    • U.S. military ID

    • State, county, and local government IDs

    • Permanent resident card, or "green card," issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

    • Foreign passport

    • Driver's license officially issued in Mexico or Canada

  • 2. Time & Location

    Understanding Timing and Location.

Timing. This can play a major role in performing a notarial act(s). For example, is the signer under heavy medication? Does the signer have to be moved for scanning, surgery, or room changes? What about shift changes? Is the inmate allowed visitors, or are they in solitary confinement (AKA the hole)? Knowing this upfront can help move this plan forward.

Location. From jail/prison settings, assisted living facilities to hospitals, all operate differently. It's important to know these locations have someone in charge of visitation rights. Some of these facilities operate on an appointment-only basis.

Knowing and understanding the location matters. Even your home matters. From animal safety, high crime areas, and high foot traffic homes. So, consider these things.

  • 3. Type Of Document

    Knowing what you need.

Remember, we cannot act as attorneys and tell you what needs to be done.

You must be mentally and physically sound, and understand what you need us to perform, whether it's acknowledgments or jurats.

    We handle:

    • Seller and purchase transactions

    • Refinances

    • Home equity lines of credit

    • Apostille

    • Affidavits and jurats

    • General acknowledgments

    • Power of Attorney (POA)

    • Grant Deed

    • Trusts

    • DMV transfer of ownership

    And others.

  • 4. The Client

    About you or the signer(s).

Do you or the signer(s) have a hand disability?

We might need to consider a signature by mark, or does the signer need someone to help them calm down and proceed with the signing?

The notary public must have a direct line of communication with the signer(s) – no interpreter allowed.

Understand the power of your signature(s) and the impact the notary public's signature and stamp can have on someone's life.

If the notary public, while reading the room, feels the signer is being coerced or threatened to sign the document(s), the Notary Public will cancel the signing.

  • 5. Witnesses

Do you or does your document require them?

It's important to be familiar with your document(s) content and your situation.

So, schedule your credible witness or witnesses ahead of time for a smooth notarial act.

Some documents require two(2) witnesses, while other situations may only require a credible witness or witnesses.

Credible witness or witnesses have to be 18 or older and should have valid identification, no interest in or benefit from the document being notarized, and may be required to provide a signature(s) in the document or the notary public journal.

Notary signing agent

Your real estate loan signing agent is right here, ready to assist you!

Whether you're a new home buyer, a savvy investor, or looking to refinance, we've got you covered for anything related to mortgages. It's important to note that some packages may take up to 45 minutes to an hour and a half.

Additionally, we understand that clients have varying preferences – some prefer a quick overview of where to sign, while others want the loan officer to be part of the conversation (over the phone, of course).

We understand the process can be lengthy, and your hand may ache after signing your name and date almost a hundred times.

Notarizing in

jail

Recognizing the urgency and complexities involved, including scheduling and coordination with the watch commander.

It is essential to determine whether that loved one is allowed visitors on that day. Our services are tailored to individuals in jail, addressing tasks such as impound car releases, property releases, guardianship, power of attorney, and more.

These processes typically require a longer duration to complete, involving procedures like checking in, waiting for the client, and coordinating with deputies or witnesses when necessary.

Notary for Hospitals, Nursing Homes

Experience seamless notary services with our Nursing Home Notary.

We understand the challenges families face, so our certified notary can visit nursing homes or hospitals for your convenience.

Stay in contact with your social worker or ombudsman to determine the best time and date.

Our mobile notary service ensures a stress-free process, offering support when and where you need it most.

Notary for divorce papers

We understand that these situations are highly sensitive for both parties involved, the petitioner and respondent.

We will always remain neutral throughout this process. A divorce packet can range from 1 to 120 or more pages, depending on the drafting party.

Both the petitioner and respondent can sign simultaneously or at different times and locations.

Some DMV records may require notarization between sellers and buyers. Please ensure all parties have valid IDs and necessary paperwork, including titles and DMV forms.

On the road

These are some of the funniest experiences we encounter.

Having someone wave us down or call us while driving, whether they're on our side, behind us, or even the truck drivers we passed by.

Or opening mail while on a road trip, having a document that was left in the car that you forgot about, heading to the office, or a late appointment needing an on-the-spot notary.

In these wonderful situations, we promptly pull over in a safe area and conduct the service, ensuring that you can merge back onto the highway safely.
